How do I create a PopCap Account?
There are two ways to create your account:
  • Create an account when you purchase one of our games. Click BUY NOW on your selected product and follow the instructions on screen.
  • Click on the My Account icon on the top right hand corner of this page (next to the CART and HELP icons) and fill in your account details.

Note: If you use spam-filtering technology on your email, be sure to add us to your address book so you can receive email from PopCap. Add this address to your list: salessupport@popcap.com. If you do not receive our email, please check your spam or junk mail folder as the email may be detained in error.

Do I have to purchase a game to create a PopCap Account?
Not at all! You can create an account by clicking on the My Account icon My Account on the top right hand corner of this page (next to the CART cart and HELP help icons).

The system is not allowing me to enter my email address or password ; why?
Please check the formatting of your email address (username) and password. The Email/username is a standard email address format; the password should be at least 6 and up to 20 alpha-numeric characters, plus the following special characters: ! @ # $ % ^ * ( )

Note: Check that your password is at least 6 characters long. We recommend that you use a random combination of letters, numbers and characters.

How do I know if I already have an Account?
PopCap Accounts were introduced in July 2008. If your last purchase or visit to our site was before that time, it is likely you have not yet created an Account. If you do aleady have an account, and attempt to create one with the same email address, you will be told that your address is already in use on the system. If you do not recall the password you entered when creating the account, please refer to the instructions on resetting your password below.

Why am I unable to sign in to my PopCap Account?
Please ensure that you are using the correct email address and password for your account. The password is case sensitive, so check that your CAP LOCK is not turned on. If you are still unable to access your account, you may reset your password. You need to know the email address used when you created your account. Please see below for further information on how to reset your password.

How do I reset my password?
There are two ways to change your password, the first while you are logged into your account, the second if you cannot remember your password and cannot access your account. Easy!

  1. Click on the My Account icon (top right corner of the page).
  2. Sign in to your account and you will be taken to My PopCap Games Account page.
  3. Click on the Password Edit button.
  4. Change your password and click on the Save button.

  2. Click the Forgot your password? link.
  3. Enter the email address used to register your account, and reenter it to verify then click the Continue button.
  4. Check your email inbox for an email from PopCap Customer Service titled Reset your PopCap Games Account Password. Click on the link in the email to change your password.

    Note: If you use spam-filtering technology on your email, be sure to add us to your address book so you can receive your Account Activation email from PopCap Games. Add this address to your list: salessupport@popcap.com. If you do not receive our email, please check your spam or junk mail folder as the email may be detained in error.
  5. A new browser window will open (you will need to be connected to the internet). Enter your email address and new password, then reenter it to verify.
  6. Click the Change my password button.

How do I reset my password if my email address has changed, and I no longer have access to the email inbox?

Please click the Contact Us button below to mail Customer Support, and request that your password be reset. You should provide the following information so we can locate and verify your account:


  • First and Last name
  • Email address used to create account
  • Billing Address
  • Telephone Number
  • Last 4 numbers of your Credit/Debit Card OR Your last PopCap/PayPal Transaction ID

We will verify that we are dealing with the account holder, reset your password, and reply with the new, temporary password. We recommend that you reset your password immediately upon sign in, by visiting the My Account section.

When signing in, please enter the email address originally used to create your account. You may change this information once you have successfully logged on to your account; see below for further information on how to do this.

Please follow the instructions below to edit your email address on your account:
  1. Click on the My Account icon (top right corner of the page).
  2. Sign in to your account and you will be taken to My PopCap Games Account page.
  3. Click on the Email Address Edit button.
  4. Change email address and click on the Save button.
Note: If you change your email address, you will have to activate your account again. This is a security measure.

PopCap Account Billing Questions


How do I purchase a game using PayPal?
As you must separately sign in to your PayPal account to complete the transaction, it is not possible to add your PayPal account as a payment option in your PopCap Games Account . We have provided instructions on how to complete your PayPal transaction in our Billing and Purchasing section.

Why can't I store more than one credit card on my Payment Method Details?
It is not possible to store more than one payment method on your account at this time. If you wish to change your payment method, please see below.

My credit card has changed or expired or I have moved; how do I update my Payment Method/Billing Address Details?
Unfortunately, this is not possible directly from your account. However, you may delete your credit card information from your account page, then add your new payment method the next time you complete a purchase from http://www.popcap.com. This helps us ensure that your personal financial information is as safe and secure as possible. Please see below for information on how to delete your payment method.

My billing or shipping address has changed; how do I update this information?

Please follow the instructions below to edit your billing or shipping address:

  1. Click on the My Account icon (top right corner of the page).
  2. Sign in to your account and you will be taken to My PopCap Games Account page.
  3. Below Billing Information, click the Edit button next to the address you wish to edit.
  4. Enter your new address and click on the Save button.

Why is there is no information listed for my Shipping Address?
If you have only purchased download versions of our game, and no physical products that need to be mailed to you, we will not have your shipping information on file. If you would like to add your shipping address for future purchases, you can do so in "My Account".
  1. Click on the My Account icon (top right corner of the page), which will take you to the Account Home Page.
  2. Sign on to your Account
  3. Next to SHIPPING ADDRESS, click the ADD NEW button.
  4. Add your shipping address and click on the "save" button.

Order Information


A game I purchased doesn't appear on my account; where is it?
Your PopCap Games Account only displays the orders associated with the email address registered on your account. If you have purchased the game using another email address, or from another company, the order will not be associated with your registered email address on our system and will not appear. Please see below for further information.

I have ordered other games with a different email address; can I view these orders on my PopCap Account?
Your PopCap Games Account only displays the orders associated with the email address registered on your account. If you would like to move all of your order details to one account, please contact our Customer Support Team. You should provide all order information such as your first and last name and previous email address or addresses. This will help us locate your other orders and move them to your PopCap Games Account.

I have ordered PopCap Games from other websites/Affiliate Partners; can I view these all on my PopCap Account?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. We do not have access to our Partners' order databases and cannot retrieve any order information from them.

The word "Refunded" appears next to one of my orders; what does this mean?
This means that, on your request, our Customer Support Team has refunded this order. If you require further information, please contact our Customer Support Team who will be happy to research the order history for you.

What does "# of Licenses" mean?
This is the number of licenses or registrations left on your game order. Whenever you register your game on a new or reformatted computer, you will use one license. If you use up all of your licenses due to regular reformatting, don't worry, we can issue some more!
