How do I create my PopCap Passport account?

At the top of any page on PopCap.com, you will see Sign In or Join Passport!


If you already have a PopCap User Account, sign in, click Upgrade to Passport and Save! and you will be invited to upgrade your account.


If you do not already have a User Account, click Join Passport! and follow the instructions on screen.


We will send you an email with the subject line Confirm your PopCap Passport Membership. Click on the link in the email to complete sign up and activate your PopCap Passport. Let the fun begin!


Note: If you use spam-filtering technology on your email, be sure to add us to your address book so you can receive your account activation email from PopCap. Add this address to your list: feedback@enews.popcap.com. If you do not receive our email, please check your spam or junk mail folder as the email may be detained in error.

The system is not allowing me to enter my email address or password; why?

Please check the formatting of your email address (username) and password. The Email/username is a standard email address format; the password should be at least 6 and up to 20 alpha-numeric characters, plus the following special characters: ! @ # $ % ^ * ( )

Note: Check that your password is at least 6 characters long. We recommend that you use a random combination of letters, numbers and characters.


Secure Password Tips:

  • Use at least 8 characters. We require between 6 and 20. A combination of numbers and letters is best.
  • Do not use dictionary words, your name or Email address, or other personal information that can be easily obtained.
  • Do not use the same password for multiple online accounts.

What is a Nickname?

This is the name that you wish to appear in your greeting when you sign in to your account.


At a later date, we may add new features to PopCap Passport, allowing members to post reviews of games, and your nickname will appear next to your review. We suggest that you choose a name that is family-friendly. PopCap reserves the right to remove nicknames that may cause offense so keep it clean!

By joining PopCap Passport, am I making a commitment to purchase several games within a year?

No, you are not making a commitment to purchase games. However, if you do decide to purchase games, you will be entitled to Instant Savings discounts.

How do Instant Savings work?

There are three levels of Instant Savings:


Chuzzle Bus
After joining, you will be entitled to a 10% discount on the next purchase you make on PopCap.com. This deduction will be calculated when you add games to the shopping cart. You must be signed in to your account to receive the discount.


The Lexpress
If you make a second purchase within a year of joining PopCap Passport*, you will be entitled to a 15% discount on the purchase. You must be signed in to your account to receive the discount.


Fly AirBjorn
If you make a third purchase within a year of joining PopCap Passport*, you will be entitled a 20% discount on that purchase and any other purchases for the remainder of the year.


* A year's membership starts on your join date, so if you join in February 2010, your first membership year ends in February 2011. On each anniversary of your membership, we will review your purchase history. If you have made two purchases, during the previous year -- you will receive a 20% discount, for the following year. If you wish to maintain your 20% discount, you just have to make two purchases in a year.

How do I know what Savings Level I am currently on?

To check your Savings Level:

  2. Your Savings Level will appear on the right side of your Passport account pages.

What is Gift-a-Game for free, and how do I send a game to a friend?

You can use our special Gift-a-Game feature to give PopCap games to a friend or relative -- absolutely free!


To send a free game to a friend, please do the following:

  1. Sign in to PopCap Passport
  2. On your My Offers Page, scroll down to Gift-a-Game
  3. Click the Send It button
  4. Enter your friend's email address
  5. Verify your friend's email address
  6. Click Send It

Your friend will receive an email with instructions on how they can retrieve their free game. Please ensure that you enter the correct email address for your friend.


Note: We do not share or use your friend's email address for any other purpose. Your friend is not required to join Passport or make a purchase to receive a free game. It's a free game - there are no other obligations.


As a Passport Member you are not required to use Gift-a-Game. By using Gift-a-Game, Passport Members will not move to a higher discount level or receive any additional member benefits.


Note: If your friend uses spam-filtering technology on their email, they should add the address feedback@enews.popcap.com to their address book so they can receive the email from PopCap. If they do not receive our email, they should check their spam or junk mail folder as the email may be detained in error.

Why am I unable to sign in to my PopCap Passport/User Account?
Please ensure that you are using the correct email address and password for your account. The password is case sensitive, so check that your CAP LOCK is not turned on.

If you are still unable to access your account, you may reset your password. You need to know the email address used when you created your account. Please see below for further information on how to reset your password.

How do I reset my password?
There are two ways to change your password, the first while you are logged into your account, the second if you cannot remember your password and cannot access your account. Easy!

My Account icon
  1. Click on the My Account icon (top right corner of the page).
  2. Sign in to your account and you will be taken to My PopCap Games Account page.
  3. Click on the Password Edit button.
  4. Change your password and click on the Save button.

Forgot your password? link
  1. Click on the My Account icon (top right corner of the page).
  2. Click the Forgot your password? link.
  3. Enter the email address used to register your account, and reenter it to verify, then click the Continue button.
  4. Check your email inbox for an email from PopCap Customer Service titled Reset your PopCap Games Account Password. Click on the link in the email to change your password.
    Note: If you use spam-filtering technology on your email, be sure to add us to your address book so you can receive your Account Activation email from PopCap Games. Add this address to your list: salessupport@popcap.com. If you do not receive our email, please check your spam or junk mail folder as the email may be detained in error.
  5. A new browser window will open (you will need to be connected to the Internet). Enter your email address and new password, then reenter it to verify.
  6. Click the Change my password button.

How do I reset my password if my email address has changed, and I no longer have access to the email inbox?

Please click the Contact Us button below to mail Customer Support, and request that your password be reset. You should provide the following information so we can locate and verify your account:


  • First and Last name
  • Email address used to create account
  • Billing Address
  • Telephone Number
  • Last 4 numbers of your Credit/Debit Card OR Your last PopCap/PayPal Transaction ID

We will verify that we are dealing with the account holder, reset your password, and reply with the new, temporary password. We recommend that you reset your password immediately upon sign in, by visiting the My Account section.

Please follow the instructions below to edit your email address on your account:
  1. Click on the My Account icon (top right corner of the page).
  2. Sign in to your account and you will be taken to My PopCap Games Account page.
  3. Click on the Email Address Edit button.
  4. Change email address and click on the Save button.
Note: If you change your email address, you will have to activate your account again. This is a security measure.

Billing Questions


How do I purchase a game using PayPal?
As you must separately sign in to your PayPal account to complete the transaction, it is not possible to add your PayPal account as a payment option in your PopCap Games Account . We have provided instructions on how to complete your PayPal transaction in our Billing and Purchasing section.

Can I store more than one credit card on my Payment Method details page?
It is not possible to store more than one payment method on your account at this time. If you wish to change your payment method, please see below.

My credit card has changed or expired; can I change my payment method?
Unfortunately, this is not possible directly from your account. However, you may delete your credit card information from your account page, then add your new payment method the next time you complete a purchase from http://www.popcap.com. This helps us ensure that your personal financial information is as safe and secure as possible. Please see below for information on how to delete your payment method.

  3. Below Billing Information, click the Edit button next to the address you wish to edit.
  4. Enter your new address and click on the Save button.

Why is there is no information listed for my Shipping Address?
If you have only purchased download versions of our game, and no physical products that need to be mailed to you, we will not have your shipping information on file. If you would like to add your shipping address for future purchases, you can do so in My Account.

  2. Click on the My Account tab.
  3. Next to Shipping Address, click the Edit button.
  4. Add your shipping address and click on the "save" button.

Where can I find my Order History?
To locate your previous orders made on PopCap.com:
  1. Click on Sign In (top right corner of the page) and sign in to your account.
  2. Click on the My Orders tab.

A game I purchased doesn't appear in My Orders -- where is it?
My Orders only displays the orders associated with the email address registered on your account. If you have purchased the game using another email address, or from another company, the order will not be associated with your registered email address on our system and will not appear. Please see below for further information.

I have ordered other games with a different email address; can I view these orders on My Orders?
My Orders only displays the orders associated with the email address registered on your account. If you would like to move all of your order details to one account, please contact our Customer Support Team. You should provide all order information such as your first and last name and previous email address or addresses. This will help us locate your other orders and move them to your account.

I have ordered PopCap Games from other websites/Affiliate Partners; can I view these orders on My Orders?
Unfortunately, this is not possible. We do not have access to our Partners' order databases and cannot retrieve any order information from them.

The word "Refunded" appears next to one of my orders; what does this mean?
This means that, on your request, our Customer Support Team has refunded this order. If you require further information, please contact our Customer Support Team who will be happy to research the order history for you.

What does "Licenses" mean?
This is the number of licenses or registrations left on your game order. Whenever you register your game on a new or reformatted computer, you will use one license. If you use up all of your licenses due to regular reformatting, don't worry, we can issue some more!

If you require more licenses due to a problem registering your game or due to repeated system formatting, please contact our Customer Support Team and they will review your case.

How do I close my PopCap Passport Account?

If you have had difficulty using your account, or require any assistance with it, please contact our Customer Support Team who will be happy to assist you.


If you would still like to cancel your account:

  1. Click on Sign In (top right corner of the page) and sign in to your account.
  2. Click on My Preferences tab.
  3. Below Done traveling with us?, click Cancel Membership
  4. Confirm your choice.

Your account will be closed. Please note that you will not receive discounts or other membership benefits, unless you choose to sign up again.
